  1. Science Degree or equivalent relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biological or health sciences.

  2. Prior practical experience in cell and tissue culture of adherent and suspension mammalian cells.

  3. Demonstrated skills in the preparation of biological samples for testing, including DNA, RNA and protein extraction.

  4. Demonstrated skills in undertaking highly technical assays such as cell based biological assays, qPCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry. ELISA, chromatography.

  5. Demonstrated effective, collaborative and professional communication skills, time management skills and timely delivery of required deliverables.

  6. Experience in documentation of science based, technical protocols and processes.

  7. Desirable: Knowledge of developing, qualifying and/or validation of qPCR or ELISA assays.

  8. Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for Human Blood & Tissues or Biologics as well as relevant clinical trial frameworks in one or more of ANZ, US or EU.
