Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in the area of Business, Finance or Health Administration/Management, supported by experience the management and leadership of health services.
  2. Demonstrated experience as an executive team member within a large government or non-government organisation, whereby operational and organisation-wide financial and business advice is provided in a timely manner.
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a corporate support team to achieve best practice in financial and administrative systems and process and contribute to optimal client outcomes and the client experience.
  4. Demonstrated experience in high-level written and verbal communication, including proven ability to effectively and efficiently consult, liaise and negotiate and problem solve in order to establish and maintain formal relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, inclusive of a diverse range of professionals and organisations.
  5. Demonstrated and strongly developed strategic, analytical skills, including demonstrated proficiency in financial and data analysis, activity based management, service development with ability to collaborate with a diverse range of professionals and organisations.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth Aged Care and NSW Ministry of Health Strategic Directions, Policy Frameworks, Guidelines and Manuals, including an understanding of their application as they pertain to the coordination and control of financial and business operations within a complex organisation.
  7. Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and management of business/ operational/ service plans, contracts, proposals, and applications for grants or funding supplementation with the long-term view of supporting organisational sustainability.
  8. Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites and facilities across a large geographic area, which may include overnight stays.
