Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications at graduate level or above in: population health, health promotion, public health or other health related areas
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of best practice interventions (especially in the area of childhood obesity)
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills, problem solving skills and computer skills
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills (including the ability to conduct public presentations and facilitate groups)
- Understanding of issues that impact on service delivery in relation to social disadvantage, Aboriginal and CALD communities
- Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team and developing and maintaining partnerships, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a cross cultural context, particularly with members of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse communities.
- Hold a current driver's license valid in Australia and willingness to use for work purposes
