Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications at graduate level or above in: population health, health promotion, public health or other health related areas
  2. Demonstrated experience in project planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of best practice interventions (especially in the area of childhood obesity)
  3. Demonstrated effective organisational skills, problem solving skills and computer skills
  4. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills (including the ability to conduct public presentations and facilitate groups)
  5. Understanding of issues that impact on service delivery in relation to social disadvantage, Aboriginal and CALD communities
  6. Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team and developing and maintaining partnerships, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  7. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a cross cultural context, particularly with members of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse communities.
  8. Hold a current driver's license valid in Australia and willingness to use for work purposes
