- Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (or eligible for registration within 3 months of commencement) with post registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience and with ability to rotate across CCLHD sites, participate in on call, after hours, weekend and public holiday work as required.
- Significant experience and a demonstrated high level of competence, expertise, skill and application of clinical judgment in clinical pharmacy services relevant to Infectious diseases management and Antimicrobial stewardship.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop high quality written guidelines, procedures, educational, research or business materials.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, team building, influencing, conflict resolution and the building of a positive workplace culture.
- Proven ability and commitment to effectively role model, champion and promote teamwork and to manage and develop staff (both formally and informally).
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, problem solving and development and implementation of initiative.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, including membership of a professional pharmacy association, preferably the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia and/or Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases, and active participation in conference presentations/posters and/or publications (or equivalent professional endeavours).
- Commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and behaviours charter.
