- Recent experience in hospital pharmacy, either in stores and inventory management including procurement, or as a senior pharmacy technician (preferably with inventory management experience).
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively by prioritising tasks, adhering to deadlines and setting boundaries.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including with ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with pharmacy department staff and external stakeholders (pharmacy wholesalers, HealthShare managers, pharmaceutical companies).
- Good computer skills, particularly with experience of pharmacy dispensing systems (including iPharmacy).
- Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements pertaining to drug procurement and supply.
- High level of self-motivation with an ability to work both independently, and as part of a collaborative team to meet pharmacy department objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and manage a small team of staff.
