- Must hold as a minimum a bachelor degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of Orthotic service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload in line with patient and departmental demand.
- Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
