  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training in completing and/or a recognised qualification with the NSW AHA framework.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
  • Identify skills and knowledge in the provision of assistant’s activities to provide support for, Allied Health Professionals, consumers, carers and families as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Allied Health Professional. And an ability to administer all aspects of an equipment loan pool and provide therapy interventions to a range of patient groups under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Ability to work independently under the delegation of Allied Health Professional and the ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Current NSW drivers licence
