Selection Criteria
  1. A bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current authority to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Level 2, and a licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive occasionally for work purposes.
  2. Knowledge of relevant contemporary MHDA practice, rural service provision and practical application of relevant MHDA legislation and policy.
  3. Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  4. Extensive specialist or broad generalist knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities.
  8. Demonstrated ability to provide and coordinate staff and student supervision.
