- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence.
- Recent senior nursing management experience in an acute setting supported by a relevant tertiary qualification and/or working towards.
- Demonstrated experience in nursing leadership roles involving change management, motivational and team development skills together with the ability to apply problem solving and analytical strategies.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and the capacity to apply knowledge and skills to develop innovative improvement strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and facilitate the implementation of policy/guidelines and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated experience and competence in Microsoft computer programmes and reporting systems (including but not limited to Stafflink, HealthRoster, Outlook, Word, Excel, R.O.B)
- Demonstrated effective written, verbal& negotiation skills with an aptitude to utilize relevant health information systems and ability to provide clear concise plans and reports..
- Sound Knowledge of NSW Public Health System Nurses and Midwives Award and current clinical practice, its delivery and models of care and the ability to motivate, inspire and lead staff.
