Nurse Unit Manager Level 2, Community Mental Health - Lismore

1. Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), post-registration management and/or Mental Health specialty qualification and/or relevant clinical management experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a multidisciplinary team within a contemporary Community Mental Health environment, set priorities for services and establish and achieve agreed objectives.
3. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to continuous quality improvement and the ability to initiate and manage change.
4. Highly developed and proven communication skills that include coaching, conflict resolution, mediation, delegation and negotiation skills and the ability to write reports.
5. Understanding of and commitment to the effective and meaningful engagement of clinicians in the decision-making process that impacts on positive patient outcomes.
6. Demonstrated experience and leadership in the implementation of sustainable models of care that are reflective of contemporary health practice, evidence-based practice and clinical governance.
7. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
