Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency. (Registered Nurse – Division 1) and hold a NSW Drivers licence with ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position
- Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Nurse Unit Manager or team leader.
- Postgraduate nursing qualifications in relevant speciality or relevant clinical nursing experience deemed appropriate
- Holding or working towards relevant tertiary qualifications in management or experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing staff towards achieving D&A KPIs.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritise patients according to risk and balance competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a nursing team within a multidisciplinary team environment and influence change in practice that aligns with Models of Care.
- Understanding and commitment of the effective and meaningful engagement of clinicians in the decision making process that impacts on positive patient outcomes.
