Nurse Unit Manager - Inpatient Detoxification Unit - Nepean Hospital - Perm FT

Selection criteria to be addressed:

1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
2. Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Drug and Alcohol nursing or Management or working towards attainment
3. Extensive recent experience in the delivery and practice of drug and alcohol nursing, particularly acute inpatient withdrawal management
4. Proven leadership and management skills and demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team
5. Demonstrated skills in quality improvement/redesign projects and the associated change management
6. Demonstrated sound financial skills with an ability to interpret financial reports and a proven ability to assess nursing resource requirements within agreed targets
7. Proven ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing/midwifery staff to maintain a positive workplace culture
8. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
