  1. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Board.
  2. Tertiary qualifications in health management or working towards and/or combination of study and work experience.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the management of D&A services including experience in the management of confidential matters and sensitive political and policy issues.
  4. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills and experience in the preparation of reports, submissions and business cases and related reports.
  5. Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate and manage complex state-wide or multi-site health service delivery which includes strategic planning, change management, financial management experience and achievement of measurable outcomes.
  6. Demonstrated excellent leadership skills and the capacity to develop high functioning teams and services within their portfolio with a demonstrated outcome of a strong and resilient team culture that reflects the values of the organisation.
  7. Demonstrated experience in the development of effective clinical governance structures and processes within their portfolio.
  8. Current valid NSW Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel across NSW as required.
