  2. Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in human research or substantial experience in human research including reviewing human ethics and site applications.
  3. Sound understanding of the National Statement on Conduct of Human Research, OHMR policies and guidelines, Privacy and Good Clinical Practice relating to the ethical conduct of human research and research governance applications will be preferred..
  4. Experience in assessing site applications and managing the process of site authorisation.
  5. Demonstrated effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet conflicting deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Demonstrated experience and competence in the preparation of agendas, minutes, correspondence, discussion papers and reports.
  7. Highly developed communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills and be able to lead change.
  8. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
