Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of qualification and work experience, with eligibility for full membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
  2. Extensive skills and experience in the use of standard Microsoft Office applications and specialised health information systems such as iPM, Powerchart and KOFAX scanning applications.
  3. Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant NSW Health policies, procedures, standards and legislation.
  4. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  5. Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with capacity to successfully complete several tasks concurrently, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  6. Demonstrated strong leadership skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
  7. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
  8. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders.
