  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent current working experience in the emergency/disaster field.
  2. Sound understanding and knowledge of emergency management concepts and principles, combined with practical experience in developing and implementing emergency management initiatives.
  3. Demonstrated experience in developing guidelines, policies and frameworks at an organisational level.
  4. Demonstrated experience in developing, coordinating and facilitating emergency/disaster training and education programs.
  5. Established high level interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and relationship management skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse range of stakeholder.
  6. Demonstrated planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks, meet deadlines and achieve project targets within allocated resources.
  7. Proven effective oral and written communication skills with experience in preparing high quality documents including briefing notes, meeting papers and presenting at high level meetings.
  8. Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and ability to travel to Network facilities across the state of NSW.
