- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent current working experience in the emergency/disaster field.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of emergency management concepts and principles, combined with practical experience in developing and implementing emergency management initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in developing guidelines, policies and frameworks at an organisational level.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, coordinating and facilitating emergency/disaster training and education programs.
- Established high level interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and relationship management skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse range of stakeholder.
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks, meet deadlines and achieve project targets within allocated resources.
- Proven effective oral and written communication skills with experience in preparing high quality documents including briefing notes, meeting papers and presenting at high level meetings.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and ability to travel to Network facilities across the state of NSW.
