Essential Criteria

Vaccination Category A
Checks: National Criminal Record check
Qualifications: Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Health or related discipline


Selection Criteria:

  1. Extensive experience in working with communities from Young people backgrounds.
  2. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build productive working relationships with a range of health services, professionals, youth from CALD and refugee communities and their leaders.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the health, social and settlement needs of youth from CALD and refugee communities.
  4. Knowledge of WSLHD Strategic priorities and ability to apply these in working with CALD and refugee communities.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of relevant state multicultural and refugee health focused policies and priorities and ability to apply these in working with migrant and refugee communities.
  6. Demonstrated ability in delivering and evaluation of evidence based health programs and projects.
  7. Demonstrated evidence of effective written and oral communication skills.
