  1. Nursing (Nurse Manager Lvl 4): Current Authority to Practise as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Occupational Therapist (Level 7): Registration with AHPRA; Social Work (Level 7): As a minimum, a Bachelor Degree in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; Psychologist (Senior Psychologist): General registration with AHPRA and completion of at least 1 year at the 9th year of service or thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologist; Psychologist (Senior Clinical Psychologist): General registration with AHPRA and area of practice endorsement as a clinical psychologist; Welfare Officer (Level 7): Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) through the Djirruwang Program. Health Manager Level 4.
  2. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and drive change and reforms consistent with the NSW Ministry of Health, Mental Health Branch and Population Health Branch strategic directions.
  3. Experience in an operational leadership position, demonstrating sound financial management, understanding of activity based funding, quality human resource management and effective clinical governance.
  4. Demonstrated leadership of continuous quality improvement and experience delivering high performance in healthcare accreditation processes.
  5. A proven track record with development and maintenance of professional relationships with key stakeholders both within and external to NSW Health.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to promote a supportive and service oriented environment.
  7. Demonstrated high level of skill in the analysis of complex issues, formulating approaches, problem solving and implementation of effective strategies.
  8. Current licence to drive in NSW and ability to travel regularly for work purposes, including occasional overnight stays.
