Essential Criteria:

Qualification: Degree in Social Work or Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as Psychologist, or for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW.

Selection Criteria:
  1. Proven knowledge of issues affecting the mental health needs of people from refugee and refugee like communities.
  2. Demonstrated project management skills and experience; particularly in the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical education and training programs and initiatives.
  3. Demonstrated experience in facilitating health professional capacity building initiatives.
  4. Clinical experience working in mental health settings and working with clinicians and managers within large complex environments.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of transcultural mental health principles and practices.
  6. Demonstrated experience, knowledge, understanding and commitment to patient safety, cultural safety and quality management and ability to translate into educational programs.
  7. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to engage, liaise and negotiate at all levels with key internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
