Selection Criteria

  1. Professional qualification in either Social Work (eligible for membership of AASW), Occupational Therapy with Current registration with AHPRA, Registered Nurse with Current registration with AHPRA including relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification; Psychologist with Current registration with AHPRA.
  2. Awareness and understanding of the current issues affecting mental health consumers and their carers.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in community development and community education.
  4. High level of verbal and written communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and in partnership with local services.
  6. Demonstrated experience in service or interagency project co-ordination.
  7. Experience working in a mental health setting and demonstrated commitment to consumer participation and a recovery focus
  8. Current class C driver’s licence
