Men's Health Nurse - Tweed Community & Allied Health

1. Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and availability and capacity to participate in seven-day roster which include all days of the week including public holidays.
2. Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge and understanding of the management of men’s health and complex men’s health needs, incorporating person-centred care, evidenced based practice and quality improvement.
3. Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge and understanding of working with patients in the community ambulatory care setting including the primary case management.
4. Demonstrated ability to use problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
5. Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
6. Demonstrated understanding of and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
7. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
