- Qualifications in WHS and a working knowledge of NSW WHS legislation and regulations and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing WHS policies and programs.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of Safety Culture principals and programs.
- Demonstrated leadership and change management skills in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated high level negotiation, mediation skills and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to direct, coordinate and manage multidisciplinary team initiatives and projects in a high volume work area while managing competing priorities.
- Ability to travel in a timely manner to all hospital sites of NSLHD.
