Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience of legislations and NSW Health policies relevant to the release of information and privacy (e.g. State Records Act and the HRIP Act 2002).
- Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated high level experience using hospital Patient Administration Systems, the eMR and the Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Proven experience as a Health Information Manager or Health Manager with the capacity to provide strategic and operational advice as well as manage change processes across the District with all aspects in providing high quality medicolegal and general patient information services in a large and complex organisation, including leadership and development of professional and administrative teams.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, including an understanding of procedure and workflow design.
- Proven ability to work with and communicate effectively to a wide range of audience, customers and stakeholders, including interpersonal, negotiating, representation, consultative liaison and report writing skills as well as delivery of presentations.
- Established organisational and time management skills with the ability to plan, meet and negotiate deadlines.
