Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce, management or other relevant discipline and membership (or working towards obtaining full membership) of a professional accounting body or equivalent appropriate experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and conceptual skills including the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders and proven capacity to manage change.
- Demonstrated highly developed skills and experience in the collection and analysis of financial data within a large, complex organisation, using financial accounting, budgeting and management reporting systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Highly developed and effective management skills, including the ability to exercise sound judgement and initiative and lead a team.
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and practice pertaining to the financial management of public health services in NSW.
