- A degree or post graduate qualification in human resources management or relevant field, and/or equivalent extensive experience in senior human resource management
- Proven extensive experience in managing human resources at a senior level, including a track record of internal consultancy, change management, employee/ industrial relations, staff development and management
- Demonstrated well-developed high level verbal, written communication and presentation skills with ability to influence outcomes
- Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills, with the capacity to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders using a customer focused approach
- Demonstrated capacity to manage several complex projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Proven experience, knowledge and skills in effectively managing workers compensation and injury management
- Demonstrated experience in analysing complex information, including proficiency in Microsoft office products and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to support improvements in HR services
