Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Cleaner within a Hospital or Community Health facility.
- Experienced in using industrial cleaning equipment such as floor polisher, carpet shampooer, high pressure cleaner etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of mediums within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated willingness and capacity to perform cleaning and porting tasks in fast paced clinical and non-clinical environments to maintain deadlines.
- Proactive in adapting to change and learning new skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Work, Health and Safety Legislation & Guidelines, Manual Handling policies and procedures and Infection Control principles within a health setting.
- Holds a current NSW drivers licence (with a willingness to drive in accordance with the demands of the position).
