- Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, an allied health discipline, health promotion, public health or equivalent.
- Demonstrated recent experience in project management of health promotion initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the School Years population.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders (education sectors, local council, government or non-government organisations or community groups).
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills including the ability to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines and an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills and negotiation skills as well as demonstrated high level of competence in data management (ability to accurately collect, enter and analyse data) and high proficiency computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
