Health Promotion Officer - North Coast HARP - Public Health Lismore Office - Perm Part Time
- Minimum of an appropriate degree of a recognized University or College of Advanced Education requiring a minimum of three years full time study or other qualifications deemed equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in health education and/or health promotion theory and evidence based practice in the field of Sexual Health Promotion, Blood Borne Virus (BBV) Prevention and Social Marketing.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities and experience in health education and/or health promotion planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination targeting client groups and communities identified in the NSW HARP (HIV and Related Programs) strategies, especially in a rural context.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain community, government and non-government partnerships
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and team skills including ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated skills in the use of computer packages (Microsoft Suite including Publisher, MS Outlook) and social media platforms
- Effective facilitation of advocacy programs for a broad range of targets including HARP priority populations and health practitioners.
