  1. Minimum of an appropriate degree of a recognized University or College of Advanced Education requiring a minimum of three years full time study or other qualifications deemed equivalent
  2. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in health education and/or health promotion theory and evidence based practice in the field of Sexual Health Promotion, Blood Borne Virus (BBV) Prevention and Social Marketing.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities and experience in health education and/or health promotion planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination targeting client groups and communities identified in the NSW HARP (HIV and Related Programs) strategies, especially in a rural context.
  4. Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain community, government and non-government partnerships
  5. Demonstrated high level of organisational and team skills including ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
  6. Demonstrated skills in the use of computer packages (Microsoft Suite including Publisher, MS Outlook) and social media platforms
  7. Effective facilitation of advocacy programs for a broad range of targets including HARP priority populations and health practitioners.
  8. Current Driver’s Licence and ability to travel as require
