  1. Tertiary qualifications deemed appropriate by the employer in health/welfare or related field and demonstrated experience and knowledge in planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion initiatives.
  2. Ability to engage and work effectively with young people and ability to advocate for their needs, particularly young people from disadvantaged and/or diverse backgrounds.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting the health and wellbeing of young people.
  4. Familiarity and commitment to social justice, community development and harm minimisation principles.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with other staff and government, non-government and community organisations.
  6. Effective organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  7. Demonstrated high-level oral, written and computer skills.
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 licence acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
