Criteria
- According to Discipline: Nursing (NUM 2) - Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse; or Occupational Therapy (OT Lvl 5) - Current Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist and knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Lvl 2; or Social Work (SW Lvl 5) - A Bachelor degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social and knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Lvl 2; or Psychology (Senior or Clinical) - Current Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, a Master’s Degree or higher in Clinical Psychology,endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or eligibility to be a Clinical Psychology Trainee with AHPRA. (criteria for Clin Psych); or Djirruwang Graduate (Welfare Officer Lvl 5) - A Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) through the Djirruwang Program.
- Demonstrated experience effectively leading and managing the operations of a service/ program and a multidisciplinary team.
- Significant high level clinical expertise relevant to the service and knowledge and understanding of MHDA service delivery, contemporary models of care and rural health challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, and the ability to write quality briefs and reports.
- Demonstrated high level experience developing teams and partnerships, creating a culture of collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead review of service quality, identify areas for improvement and design, implement and review evidence based or innovative strategies.
- Licence to drive in NSW and ability to regularly travel for work, including occasional overnight stays.
