Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/ or experience in frontline service delivery
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to harm reduction and the Needle Syringe Program
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage and evaluate projects, to meet deadlines and to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders eg community members, non-government organisations, LHD Executive, government agencies and other health workers
- Demonstrated capacity to develop, deliver and evaluate training programs
- An understanding of health promotion and community development frameworks
- Advanced communication and professional writing skills.
- Willingness and ability to work in the unpredictable and sometimes volatile environment for day and evening shifts across a 7 day rotating roster
- Current NSW driver’s licence and travel in SESLHD with willingness to work across SESLHD with primary locations at the Sutherland Hospital and Kings Cross
