Selection Criteria:

Extensive proven experience at a senior management level and/or experience in senior dentistry management in a substantial and complex organisation engaged in service delivery.

Ability to apply superior planning skills to co-ordinating and implementing long term strategic and business plans and major projects, including capital work redevelopment.

Demonstrated high level proficiency in financial management and governance to provide direction to achieve financial goals for WSLHD Oral Health Service.

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and analyse potential problems at an organisational level and implement solutions through delegation.

Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse range of staff across clinical and corporate functions to deliver high quality integrated health services.

Demonstrated application of knowledge and expertise in health service delivery across a diverse range of care sectors, in advocacy for positive change in a broad range of community and government forums.

Demonstrated flexibility in communication style, utilising tact and diplomacy when negotiating sensitive or difficult issues.

Proven track record of creating long lasting relationships, built on trust, with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
