Skills and Knowledge
- Certificate 4 in Security Risk Management, 1A Security Licence, Current Senior First Aid Certificate and demonstrated knowledge of Fire Safety procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and opportunities in relation to security in the public health sector
- Experience in working in a security role in the healthcare sector including an understanding of working with clients with challenging behaviours.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer based software such as CCTV monitoring and recording, Microsoft Office, Outlook, key and alarm systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish productive relationships and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Have completed or have a willingness to complete relevant security risk management training courses including an aggression minimisation training program.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a strong customer service/public relations role and promote the importance of security as part of an effective health service
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
