  1. Tertiary qualifications in midwifery or a relevant discipline and equivalent experience; and demonstrated understanding of adult learning and assessment principles.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and evaluating safety and quality education programs on maternal care and fetal welfare in a large scale setting.
  3. Demonstrated experience in, project management, change management and managing program risks and implications.
  4. Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple and concurrent initiatives with conflicting milestones and deadlines.
  5. Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience developing effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including liaising with and influencing stakeholders to adopt and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Superior analytical skills including demonstrated ability conducting literature reviews and applying research; conducting data analysis and interpretation; preparing and presenting analysis and reports.
  7. High level verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience drafting complex written documents such as reports, briefs and advice for senior managers.
