Selection Criteria:

  1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the Health Professionals (State) Award for Occupational Therapy and Social Work with AHPRA registration for OT or eligibility to AASW for SW OR; recognised qualification in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA OR: Nursing (Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) who has at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  2. Demonstrated extensive experience in mental health including working with families and carers.
  3. Demonstrated experience in assessment, treatment and management of families of people who have a mental illness in a mental health and community setting, including evidence based family/carer focused interventions
  4. Demonstrated experience in training and motivating staff to work in a recovery and family inclusive practice, along with provision of supervision to clinical staff
  5. Demonstrated skills in the development and implementation of resources required for families & carers, consumers, clinical staff and other stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision whilst maintaining involvement within the wider multidisciplinary team.
  7. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence (P1 or above) and willingness to use same for work purposes.
