To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Tertiary qualification in a Health or Health Service Management or relevant equivalent work experience within the NSW Health Sector.
  2. Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
  3. Demonstrated ability to analyse and solve complex and sensitive problems; and deal with complex issues with a high level of critical thinking and sound decision making skills.
  4. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, flexibility and initiative with experience working within an environment involving periods of high workload and pressure.
  5. Extensive experience in providing administrative support at a senior level, including a proven capacity to operate effectively in an environment demanding confidentiality and discretion in issues management.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in preparing high level reports, ministerials, briefings and ability to undertake secretariat functions.
  7. Demonstrated capacity to work independently, have proven organisational skills, exercise initiative and judgement including a high level of negotiation skills with minimal supervision.
  8. Ability to use computer applications as a management and operational tool, including word processing, database, spreadsheet, HPRM, data analysis, Visio and Powerpoint.
