To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Tertiary qualification in a Health or Health Service Management or relevant equivalent work experience within the NSW Health Sector.
- Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and solve complex and sensitive problems; and deal with complex issues with a high level of critical thinking and sound decision making skills.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, flexibility and initiative with experience working within an environment involving periods of high workload and pressure.
- Extensive experience in providing administrative support at a senior level, including a proven capacity to operate effectively in an environment demanding confidentiality and discretion in issues management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparing high level reports, ministerials, briefings and ability to undertake secretariat functions.
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently, have proven organisational skills, exercise initiative and judgement including a high level of negotiation skills with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use computer applications as a management and operational tool, including word processing, database, spreadsheet, HPRM, data analysis, Visio and Powerpoint.
