  1. Post graduate tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent; and extensive experience in a bio-statistical role with demonstrated experience using SAS or similar statistical packages
  2. Demonstrated experience in leading and developing capability of multidisciplinary teams including providing guidance and advice to staff and fostering a performance-based and customer-focused culture
  3. Proven ability to undertake complex statistical analysis using multiple data sources including linked data sets and demonstrated knowledge of health related data collections, their strengths and limitations as well as data governance processes
  4. Demonstrated experience leading the development of an design analyses and providing expertise to inform decision-making to continuously improve health service delivery
  5. Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience developing effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to adopt and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Project management experience
