Emergency Department Service Assistant (EDSA)
Selection Criteria
- Certificate in Business Administration or experience working in a similar role. Class 1A security licence under the Security Industry Act, 1997.
- Demonstrated high level customer service and interpersonal skills including positive attitude under pressure, ability to build rapport fast and provide service to customer's satisfaction at all times.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work with minimal supervision with a variety of staff and be a team player in high pressure, high volume work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including excellent spelling, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements when dealing with personal demographic and medical information.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
