1. Full registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA (including an ability to practice unsupervised) and extensive experience in a range of hospital clinical environments.

 

2. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role of the hospital pharmacist in contributing to positive health outcomes and an understanding of medication processes within a hospital environment.

 

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of staff including clinical staff, management, technical staff and vendors, as well as produce documentation, including user guides, info sheets, procedures.

 

4. Demonstrated understanding or experience of computerised clinical information systems such as a pharmacy system and eMR, as well as a high level of proficiency or ability to quickly gain proficiency in the use of PC applications.

 

5. Demonstrated attention to detail and good organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks at one time.

 

6. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills including high level skills with the Microsoft office suite of applications particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

 

7. Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and individually. This includes ability to show initiative and take direction when required.

 

8. Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel to all ISLHD sites for current state and future state reviews and during all implementation GoLive.
