  • 1. Experience in the management of professional staff
  • 2. Demonstrated analysis and planning skills to ensure optimal staffing within the department
  • 3. Experience with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and practices
  • 4. Working knowledge of procedures relating to AHPRA, HETI, Department of Immigration and Border Protection and other governing bodies
  • 5. Well developed communication, negotiation, problem solving and organisational skills with minimal supervison
  • 6. Knowledge and understanding of medical staff conditions of employment and industrial legislation, with the ability to apply these to rostering and recruitment processes and practices
  • 7. Experience in complex rostering and ability to solve complex rostering issues independently
  • 8. Experience in the management of human resources and recruitment services providing options and risk analysis to management for annual land ad hoc recruitment
