  • Tertiary qualification in a clinical field, such as Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Dietetics or Occupational Therapy and registration with the appropriate professional body. The Clinical Psychologist is a fully registered psychologist with a Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in psychology. The Nurse will hold at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. In addition the Nurse must have approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to the field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate. The Allied Health Professional must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in the area of specialisation and full registration.
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical experience including expert level clinical expertise and leadership in the identification, assessment, management and treatment of people with eating disorders and their families.
  • Demonstrated experience in consultancy across a wide geographical area and the ability to liaise, consult and educate.
  • Proven clinical, advocacy and strategic leadership skills, demonstrated ability to initiate and lead quality improvement and research projects from inception to completion and communication of the results, demonstrated commitment to clinical supervision and demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent demonstrated communication, interpersonal, written (including formal Ministerial and Briefings) and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience of translating clinical tools into educational packages and the ability to roll out educational packages across the organisation.
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills and capacity to use health related information technology systems. Current NSW Driver’s license.
