To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
  1. Tertiary qualification as a Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Counsellor or Welfare Officer, which provides eligibility for membership with a professional organisation and or current registration with AHPRA where applicable.
  2. Demonstrated advanced clinical skills in assessment, case management and counselling within a drug and alcohol service.
  3. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of the harm reduction approach to drug and alcohol issues and demonstrated experience in the provision of interventions with drug dependent clients.
  4. Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision to staff and or students.
  5. Demonstrated experience in managing a multidisciplinary team of clinicians providing drug and alcohol interventions.
  6. High level communication skills including the ability to vet court reports and prepare statistical and technical reports.
  7. Demonstrated experience in leading quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
