Donation Specialist Nurse(CNC 2) - Organ and Tissue Donation(Liverpool Hospital) - Perm F/T

• Demonstrated evidence of strategies used to maintain current knowledge of clinical practice advances and research in the relevant specialty
• Demonstrated ability to apply expert knowledge to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
• Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
• Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of advanced evidenced based nursing care
• Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
• Current class C unrestricted drivers licence and ability to work on call after hours and weekends at sites within Critical Care Network
• At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration nursing experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in a critical care field and a post registration qualification in a critical care specialty
