  1. Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare insightful advice, and deal with challenges creatively to achieve business focused people and culture solutions.
  2. Outstanding communication, engagement, negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills; with demonstrated capability to build, maintain and use relationships to successfully achieve business outcomes and to communicate and engage with purpose, insight and impact.
  3. Proven capacity to build a constructive workplace culture, keep a safe workplace, and lead and motivate a team, with a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer service approach.
  4. Extensive experience, and a record of achievement, in people and culture, encompassing expertise in the areas of workforce strategy and planning, human resources management, engagement and communications, workplace safety, talent acquisition and recruitment, organisational development, and industrial relations, all within a complex service delivery environment.

  5. Demonstrated experience coaching and advising business units and their managers and providing high level strategic advice. This includes experience managing a Business Partner model combined with a sound knowledge of the structure and processes of government and an understanding of shared services delivery, and human resource legislative instruments, policies and processes.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead excellence in service delivery and be responsive to the expectations of customers and multiple stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in work practice to improve customer service, elevate performance, add and sustain value, enhance service viability, and maintain alignment with industry best practice.
