Selection Criteria:
- Extensive experience in leadership and management within a health care setting at a senior management level, with relevant post graduate qualifications in health service management or working towards.
- Broad clinical and operational management experience at a senior level within a complex health care environment, including strategic planning and the development/implementation of business operational plans
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead the financial resources and nursing workforce requirements (including profile management) in a complex environment within industrial frameworks and organisational guidelines to provide safe, compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the implementation of evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care within the nursing service.
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and commitment to health system safety and quality, risk management, change management, innovation, professional practice development and research
- Proven effective ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff and work successfully with other disciplines in the management of health care services to achieve professional and organisations objectives
