- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators or other appropriate specialist recognition as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State) Award that is additionally supported by post graduate qualifications in management, or working towards obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators with at least 12 months of Medical Administration experience gained. Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated extensive experience of clinical leadership and management at an executive/senior level inclusive of medical administration, medical workforce, medical ethics, clinical teaching and leadership and change management, including managing health financial, activity and reporting systems.
- Demonstrated high capability in communication, complex negotiation, consultative and interpersonal skills, incorporating the ability to liaise and consult with all levels of the health industry, the community and various professional groups.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to lead clinical governance, clinical risk management and continuous quality improvement management strategies within a complex operating environment.
- Proven capacity to manage and lead organisational change with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Hold a current Drivers Licence and the ability to travel regularly for work purposes.
