Digital Communications Officer

1. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or similar/related field, or equivalent significant experience in a closely related discipline.
2. Demonstrated high-level experience in digital production including the design, development and dissemination of online platforms, infographics, videos and collateral.
3. An understanding of emerging technology and contemporary approaches to web development and content management systems and their practical application including user-centred design, information architecture, analytics and writing for the web.
4. Strong written communication skills, with experience in writing and preparing materials for a range of online communication channels, including websites and social media.
5. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to and engage with colleagues and stakeholders to provide technical guidance, training and support to staff.
6. Demonstrated experience in online communication and/or digital marketing, including effectively using digital and online tools as part of communication and marketing strategies, analysis and reporting.
7. Extensive web development skills and experience using content management systems, preferably Squiz Matrix or similar.
