  1. Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent. Consideration would be given to applicants working towards HIM qualifications.
  2. Demonstrated high level experience working with electronic medical records, patient information systems and reporting programs.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the leadership and development of a team of professional and administrative personnel including interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  4. Demonstrated experience in change management processes around data quality and records management including key stakeholder consultation.
  5. Demonstrated strong analytical skills and an understanding of business analysis and workflow design.
  6. Knowledge of appropriate legislation and policies relating to the management of health information management including electronic medical records.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
