Selection Criteria

  • Extensive professional experience in health services planning, including processes to support asset strategic planning and infrastructure development
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating services at a strategic, facility, program and service level, with demonstrated experience in developing partnerships and working effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including clinicians, community members, other agencies and managers
  • High level analytical, critical appraisal, interpretation and problem solving skills
  • Sound knowledge and experience in applying NSW Government and Ministry of Health planning frameworks, funding models, directions, priorities and processes. This includes extensive experience in the use of health planning computer based applications and information systems
  • Excellent organisational skills including highly developed project management skills with experience in coordinating and managing multiple complex projects and meeting deliverables within identified timeframes
  • High level leadership, communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Experience in human resource management and leadership, including team building and supervision and mentoring of staff
  • Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
