  1. Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia without restrictions. Postgraduate qualifications in either Diploma of Hospital Pharmacy, Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy or any other relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the relevant specialty.
  2. Demonstrated extensive senior management / leadership and clinical experience in hospital pharmacy
  3. Proven capacity to proactively manage a complex work environment in a hospital pharmacy department
  4. Highly developed information technology skills, including highly developed knowledge of iPharmacy, eMR and common Microsoft Office applications, financial, recruitment and rostering/payroll systems
  5. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills
  6. Demonstrated skills in pharmacy workforce and service planning with an ability to develop innovative practices
  7. Strong organisational skills with a high degree of personal drive, well-developed leadership skills, motivational ability and the ability to maintain high work standards and accuracy
  8. Develop and contribute to practice based research, medication safety initiatives, accreditation activities, policy and procedure review, strategic planning and service review, and quality improvement projects relevant to pharmacy services in coordination with the relevant Medication Safety, ISLHD Drugs and Therapeutics Committees and management teams
